HISTORY

The Texas Line Dance Jamboree dates from 1996.  There is some information that indicates the Jamboree may not have been officially been dubbed “The Jamboree” for the first 2 or 3 years, but there were definitely some early large statewide line dance parties organized by the Jam originators.  These parties were certainly the precursor to the Jam and what is known is included here with the Jam’s history.
