HISTORY

The Texas Line Dance Jamboree dates from 1996.
Some information indicates the Jamboree may not have been officially dubbed
“The Jamboree” for the first 2 or 3 years.
Still, the Jam originators organized some early large statewide line dance parties.
These parties were undoubtedly the precursor to the Jam,
and what is known is included here with the Jam’s history.
